Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of NS POS, a web-based point-of-sale and electronic invoicing application operated by New Street Group. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with them, we ask that you do not use NS POS.
Service description
NS POS is a software tool that allows businesses to manage sales, inventory, and customers, issue electronic documents before Costa Rica's Ministry of Finance, and receive payments through SINPE Móvil. The service runs in the browser and may be updated or expanded over time.
Permitted use
You agree to use NS POS only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with applicable law. You may not use the system for fraudulent activities, attempt to breach its security, or interfere with its operation or that of other users.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of the fiscal and business data you enter into the system, as well as for safeguarding your credentials and certificates. You must keep your access confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Compliance with your tax and accounting obligations is your responsibility as a business.
Fiscal and business data
NS POS is a tool that helps issue electronic documents, but the business is solely responsible before the Ministry of Finance for the information declared, the correct configuration of its fiscal data, and compliance with electronic invoicing regulations.
New Street Group does not act as a tax advisor and assumes no responsibility for the business's tax decisions.
Service availability
We aim to keep NS POS available and running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, or causes beyond our control, including the availability of the Ministry of Finance's systems.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, New Street Group shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profits, or harm arising from the use of or inability to use the service.
NS POS is offered as a supporting tool, and its use is the responsibility of the business.
Modifications
We may modify the service or these Terms at any time to reflect improvements or legal or operational changes. When changes are significant, we will try to communicate them through reasonable means. Continued use of the service after a modification constitutes acceptance.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute will be resolved under such regulations and before the competent courts of the country.
